Rev. and Mrs. Jeff L. Phillips

Bro. Phillips was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on October 1, 1958. His parents lived there for approximately 6 months after he was born and then moved to Houston, where his dad had been offered a job with the Houston Fire Department.

Bro. Phillips received the Holy Ghost in June of 1974. He started preaching Youth Services at 18 years old. He has been in full time ministry since 1985. They assisted Bro. C. E. Green in Crockett, Texas, then Pastored in Onalaska, Texas for 18 months, then Noble, Louisiana for almost 3 years and have been here at Shady Grove since June 1, 1992.

Bro and Sis. Phillips married on August 4, 1978, a little over a year after they both graduated from High School. They have 2 children, Jennifer and Brandon.

It has truly an honor to have them both! They bless our church in so many ways. You are invited to come and hear Bro. Phillips preach at the services of the Shady Grove United Pentecostal Church this week!
